The largest global healthcare exhibition MEDICA, is taking place 14-17 November in Dusseldorf, Germany. And exclusive invitations from the UK government offer a global platform for UK medtech businesses…
The Department for International Trade is providing a global platform for UK medtech companies seeking overseas markets at MEDICA 2022.
Health tech, life sciences and medtech companies are looking forward to reaching international buyers and investors at this year’s event.
Once again taking place in Dusseldorf (14-17 November), select companies will join the DIT at the UK Government’s pavilion. They will be showcasing the strengths of UK health tech, innovation and research, and underlining the country’s position as a world-leading life sciences sector.
Breaking into global markets
The four-day exhibition will provide the platform for medtech professionals seeking to break into new markets. It will allow businesses to launch new products, enhance their existing international presence and reach industry experts and decision makers at a single event.
For visitors to the show, the DIT Pavilion will provide a hub of innovative talent from the UK. Access to some of the latest life sciences and medical developments, and a chance to evaluate potential investments, will all be available.
The UK companies attending will have access to DIT experts who will provide sector-specific advice and guidance.
Delegates will benefit from one-to-one meetings with DIT officers, advice and invitations to key networking events.
Gearing up for the event
Dr Aphrodite Spanou, Interim Director for Science & Technology at the DIT, said: “We are excited to welcome our delegates to MEDICA 2022.
“The UK’s healthcare and life sciences businesses have so much to offer to international markets, thanks to their advanced, forward-thinking innovations.
“Our experts will be delighted to support companies in discovering and entering new markets to help them take their medical solutions overseas.”
“Last year’s exhibition was a success, taking into account the disruption in travelling and international trade in the previous years.
“As the hunger for exploring overseas markets has sparked even more, we are expecting this year to be bigger and busier – which we are looking forward to”.
