The search is on for Health Tech World’s Startup of the Year 2024.

The Health Tech World Awards launched on September 1, with nominations already starting to come through four months before nominations close.

Startup of the Year was by far the most competitive category at last year’s inaugural event, with home healthcare tech company birdie ultimately picking up the gong.

This year’s event promises to shine a light on many more game-changing innovators.

The Health Tech Startup of the Year award is sponsored by FINN Partners.

Founded in 2011 on the core principles of innovation and collaborative partnership, FINN Partners has grown from about $24 million in fees to almost $200 million in the past 10 years, becoming one of the fastest-growing independent public relations agencies in the world.

It has been recognised as a PRovoke Media 2022 Agency of the Year.

The full-service marketing and communications company’s record-setting pace results from organic growth and integrating new companies and new people into the FINN world through a common philosophy.

Senior Partner, Julian Tyndale-Biscoe, said: “The evolution and growth of healthcare technology is fast-paced and there can be little doubt about its potential impact on improving outcomes for patients.

“We’re proud to align with an event that celebrates breakthroughs and propels the industry to new heights.

“Supporting innovation in healthcare technology isn’t a choice—it’s our imperative.”

Last year’s award judges were incredibly impressed with the quality and diversity of entries in this category.

With that in mind, this year’s judges will be looking for those fledgling innovators that are already starting to make an impact or are showing a lot of promise at an early stage.

The awards span all aspects of health innovation, including robotics, biotech, medtech, AI and beyond.

Aspect Publishing Commercial Editor, Gordon Stribling, said: “Startups are the very lifeblood of our industry, standing at the forefront of healthcare innovation.

“We are really excited to honour those companies helping to reshape healthcare, ushering in a healthier future for all of us.”
