GE HealthCare board announced ahead of Jan spinoff

General Electric (GE) has announced the first Board of Directors for its independent healthcare spinoff, GE HealthCare.

The company is set to be created following a spinoff slated for the first week of January 2023, subject to board approval.

Lawrence Culp, Jr., Chairman and CEO, GE, and CEO, GE Aerospace, will serve as Non-Executive Chairman of GE HealthCare.

GE HealthCare CEO Peter Arduini will also join as a Director.

GE has also announced the names of a further eight directors who will join the board.

The list includes Providence president and CEO, Dr. Rodney F. Hochman, former interim chief operating officer of HP, Catherine Lesjak, and Cleveland Clinic CEO, Dr. Tomislav Mihaljevic.

Culp said:

Arduini said:

“We’re excited to launch GE HealthCare in January as a standalone company leading precision health innovation.”
