The Hamptons Hospital and Electiva announce partnership to expand care access in Cambridgeshire

The Hamptons Hospital, Peterborough has announced a new partnership with Electiva Healthcare Group to support patients across Peterborough and the wider Cambridgeshire region with faster, simpler access to self-pay elective care.
The collaboration brings together The Hamptons Hospital’s established local facilities, clinical teams and inpatient capacity with Electiva’s consumer-facing care pathways, creating a clearer route from enquiry to treatment for patients seeking timely access to elective services delivered locally.
As part of the partnership, The Hamptons Hospital, based on Cygnet Road in Hampton, Peterborough, will provide inpatient and procedural capacity to support Electiva-referred patients.
This will help reduce delays and improve speed of access while ensuring care is delivered locally, safely and to high clinical standards.
Patients will benefit from:
- Local access to hospital-based care in Peterborough
- Clear, coordinated pathways from consultation through treatment and aftercare
- Agreed service levels across booking, pre-assessment and post-treatment support
- A strong focus on clinical suitability, patient choice and governance
David Winters, director of hospital operations and strategy at The Hamptons Hospital, said: “Patients want great care, delivered locally, without delay or complexity.
“Partnering with Electiva strengthens our ability to unlock hospital capacity and provide a smooth, end-to-end experience for people in Peterborough and Cambridgeshire, with shared standards, clear communication and a strong focus on quality.”
Sayani Sainudeen, founder and executive chair of Electiva, added: “Our role is to make access to elective care simpler and more transparent for patients.
“Working with The Hamptons Hospital allows us to support patients in Peterborough and Cambridgeshire through a trusted local hospital setting, backed by strong clinical governance and efficient, well-coordinated care pathways.”
The partnership reflects a shared commitment to improving access to elective care and making better use of independent sector capacity to meet patient demand across the region.
It also forms part of Electiva’s wider work with hospital partners to support access to self-pay elective care.
