Smile Genius has raised €850k in funding to scale its clinic-lab workflow platform across the UK and Ireland.
Originally an aligner-workflow tool, the platform now handles end-to-end lab-order management for independent clinics, labs and dental groups. Recent upgrades include automated lab-order workflows, real-time cost visibility and clearer oversight for finance, admin and clinical teams.
Over the past two years, Smile Genius has grown to 1,200+ clinics, processed 10,000+ patient cases and has clinical users in 33 countries. In the UK, it works with three of the top five dental laboratories in its segment.
“This milestone reflects the momentum and confidence we’re earning across our UK and Ireland customer base,” said Nipun Kathuria, chief executive of Smile Genius Dental. “Our ambition is to establish Smile Genius as the de facto standard for clinic–lab engagement globally, and we are targeting a doubling of our clinic presence by the end of 2026 as we continue to scale.”
Founded in 2021 and headquartered in Leinster, the company plans to add roles across product, marketing, sales and customer success.
Backers of the €850k raised to date include Enterprise Ireland, Haatch (UK) and a network of angel investors.
