Becoming a successful leader at a young age requires drive, determination and age-defying self-belief.
For the second Health Tech World Awards, we are one again on the search for a leader under 35 who possesses all those qualities in spades.
This award attracted some truly inspirational entries last year and once again promises to be very competitive.
The Young Health Tech Leader of the Year award is sponsored by Fearsome – a medical device development and design consultancy based in the UK.
The company specialises in developing medical device innovations, and has recently been working in neurosurgery, women’s health and ophthalmology .
Fearsome oftens young start-ups and smaller companies scale and grow their medical businesses.
Fearsome co-founder, Morven Shearlaw, said: ‘’Working closely with young innovative companies, it’s clear that success is intricately linked to the passion and dedication of the people behind them.
“Supporting Young Leader of the Year emphasises our belief that true innovation in health tech isn’t just about breakthrough technology, it’s the leader and their team that enable that technology to get to those that need it most.’’
Fearsome co-founder and managing director, Alan Suttie, added: ’Fearsome recognises that the future of the health tech industry relies on nurturing young talent.
“By backing the Young Leaders Award, we demonstrate commitment to developing the next generation of leaders.’’
The Health Tech World Awards are free to enter, with nominations open until January 31.
The entries will then be shortlisted by the Health Tech World team and passed on to the judging panel.
Aspect Publishing commercial editor, Gordon Stribling, said: “It’s always exciting to learn of the inspirational young people doing incredible things in health tech.
“We look forward to shining a light on these inspirational leaders accelerating health tech for a brighter future.”
