New era: Healthcare 5.0 technologies at Healthcare Automation and Digitalization Congress 2022

Healthcare 5.0 technologies and smart healthcare services will be discussed at Healthcare Automation and Digitalization Congress (AUTOMA+ Healthcare) Switzerland on September 26 – 27, 2022. The Congress gathers industry leaders from hospitals and healthcare providers, pharmaceutical companies together with medical device manufacturers and service companies.

We are at the dawn of a new era of healthcare. Healthcare 5.0 is powered by new technologies such as 5G, AI, Nanomedicine, Nanorobotics, AR, VR and IoT.

Smart healthcare supports personalisation by connecting different health system stakeholders, such as patients, healthcare professionals, organisations and regulators. The use of Healthcare 5.0 technologies will lead to higher quality customisation and personalisation in medicine.

Speakers at AUTOMA+ Healthcare will focus on increasing the quality of customisation and personalisation in medicine with the help of new technologies.

Cherdchai Nopmaneejumruslers, Vice Director at Siriraj Hospital, will present the topic “Technologies driving Healthcare 5.0”. Nopmaneejumruslers will discuss the Siriraj 5G Smart Hospital – a pioneer model of 5G in the health care sector.

With digital automation creating significant processing demand, 5G has become an essential technology.

5G provides significant data capabilities and huge network signal coverage, which supports remote healthcare support, telemedicine and a real-time transmission of massive data.

Moreover, 5G can bolster performance to support the full power of AI. Mare Mechelinck, Anesthesiologist and Innovation Сoach for DIH-HERO at Universitätsklinikum Aachen, is going to talk about how robotics and AI get us to Healthcare 5.0.

Medical micro/nanorobots are also among the examples of Healthcare 5.0 technologies. These technologies can transform diverse types of energy sources into a mechanical force for performing medical procedures such as surgeries.

Micro and nanorobots are able to reach regions of the body not accessible by invasive surgery. They can also can measure physical properties of tissue in real-time, enabling precise disease diagnosis.

Liliana Paredes, Chief Technology Officer at VAMED Management und Service Schweiz AG is going to talk about neurorehabilitation technologies.

AUTOMA+ Healthcare 2022 brings together healthcare industry leaders to discuss the development of ongoing digital health trends.

Speaker registration for the event is already closed. However, there is still an opportunity to listen to delegates talking about the future of the healthcare industry.

Among speakers and delegates are Pfizer, Lundbeck, Honeywell, Helsinki University Hospital, Johnson & Johnson, VAMED Management und Service Schweiz, Lusíadas Saúde, Western Australian Health Service, Royal North Shore Hospital, Mehilainen and others.
