Medtronic Roadshow brings breakthrough monitoring to ease hospital pressures in Liverpool

Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital has welcomed Medtronic’s ACM2U Truck this week as part of a nationwide roadshow.

The goal of Medtronic’s ACM2U Truck roadshow is to help build clinicians’ confidence in using new tools that can improve patient recovery and outcomes.

The truck has delivered valuable learning opportunities right at the hospital’s doorstep since its arrival on Monday.

Mr Manoj Kuduvalli is medical director at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital.

Kuduvalli said: “The arrival of Medtronic’s ACM2U Truck at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital is a powerful example of how innovation can be brought directly to the frontlines of care and is a valuable opportunity to strengthen our commitment to patient safety.

“This mobile hub provides our clinicians with immersive, hands-on training in advanced monitoring technologies, strengthening our commitment to clinician excellence.”

Inside the ACM2U Truck, visitors will find the Corsano multi-parameter wearable – a breakthrough device that continuously monitor a patient’s key vital signs.

The wearable technology allows doctors and nurses to monitor patients recovering in the comfort of their homes, whilst reducing clinical strain.

The ACM2U Roadshow also brings NICU solutions designed to protect the most vulnerable patients and support clinical workflows.

There are hands-on demos and VR simulations showcasing innovations, education and hands-on training for clinicians.

With direct access to experts, the ACM2U Truck supports knowledge transfer, showcasing how technology can transform outcomes and empower clinical teams to integrate innovation into their workflows.

Kuduvalli said: “It’s not just about showcasing new tools; it’s about empowering our teams to confidently integrate these solutions into everyday practice, improving outcomes and easing pressure on hospital resources.”
