International AI experts gather at the Soph.I.A Summit

Beginning today, the summit will see three days of insight and discussion around AI in medical and biological research

International AI experts are gathering at the Soph.I.A Summit, which will feature three days of groundbreaking discussions and conclude with international AI innovation awards.  

Organised by Université Côte d’Azur, the Communauté d’Agglomération de Sophia Antipolis and the Sophia Club Entreprises, and supported by the Alpes Maritimes department, the fourth edition of Soph.I.A Summit takes place from today until Friday at Sophia Antipolis and online.

This international meeting is a result of extensive interdisciplinary and international collaboration, and includes a stellar line-up of global personalities who will participate in the programme.

Together, they will unveil the latest progress in the field of artificial intelligence and its application in medical and biological research, as well as sustainable development, mobility and smart territories.

During the Soph.I.A Summit closing ceremony, the winners of the demonstrations and posters, and the first edition of Soph.I.A Masters will be announced. This competition has been open to a broad range of candidates, including researchers, employees, students and job seekers. Its aim is to recognise the most innovative concepts and projects, and to encourage young innovators to connect with  research laboratories and development partners to realise the potential technological value of their ideas. The winner will be entered into an entrepreneurship support and training programme.
