Gamified education and virtual health are set to be major highlights at Healthcare Automation and Digitalization Congress 2022, held in Zurich, Switzerland on September, 26-27.
The Congress will welcome leaders from hospitals, healthcare providers, pharmaceutical companies, governmental bodies and institutions to present case-studies and share experiences of digital transformation.
In “Towards gamified education and virtual health,” delegates will discuss gamified solutions as a learning tool, as well as telemedicine and telepharmacy, smart digital medical devices and mHealth apps.
Gamification is the use of game elements and techniques in non-game activities.
The goal of gamified solutions in healthcare is to promote exercise, social inclusiveness and enhance quality of life.
Gamification offers an exciting way for doctors and interns to absorb information quickly and efficiently.
Speakers at AUTOMA+ Healthcare will focus on introducing gamification to the healthcare industry.
Bartłomiej Lubiatowski, CEO/IT Specialist at RSQ Technologies, will present the topic “RSQ HOLO – a gaming and metaverse approach to the operating theatre”.
Telemedicine and telepharmacy are also increasingly popular technologies, providing two-way communication between patients and the healthcare provider through audio and video.
These virtual consultations enable doctors to monitor patients remotely via specialist software.
Meanwhile, telepharmacy enables pharmacists to electronically deliver care to their patients via the same technologies.
These technologies will be addressed by Anni Iso-Mustajärvi, Director, BeeHealthy SaaS Platform at Mehilainen, in a talk titled: “Evidence from telehealth bridging the care continuum and new business generation”.
Meanwhile, Veronica Alonso, Senior Global Supply Chain Manager at Takeda Pharmaceuticals International AG, will discuss the capacity-building journey within a large Pharma organisation.
The Congress will also see leading healthcare representatives present case-studies and share experiences in digital transformation.
