Custom-crafted flexible orthotics provider Foot Levelers has announced that Jamie Greenawalt was named president, effective immediately.
The appointment builds on Greenwalt’s recent responsibilities as senior vice president of business development and decades of experience at Foot Levelers overseeing customer support, technology, marketing, sales and educational development.
Greenawalt has also served the World Bank in Washington D.C. in their agriculture, food and nutrition security programs, as well as the United Nations’ Food and Agriculture Organization (UNFAO) in Rome.
Foot Levelers chairman and CEO, Kent S. Greenawalt, said:
“Over the years, Jamie has proven to be an innovative, knowledgeable and thoughtful executive leader, and has earned the respect and admiration of not only our employees, but also industry professionals who seek out her perspectives on the profession.
“The ongoing growth of Foot Levelers has been largely achieved through her dedication to expanded partnerships with academic institutions, healthcare organizations and healthcare providers.”
Greenawalt is a third-generation member of the family business.
Her grandfather, Dr Monte H. Greenawalt, founded the company over 70 years ago.
Greenwalt said:
“This opportunity to lead Foot Levelers in sustainable growth for the years ahead aligns with my successful record of unifying diverse groups to achieve results on a global scale.
“This invaluable perspective applies to the multitude of activities that will advance the many segments of our customer community.”
Greenawalt has a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Missouri.
The new company president earned an undergraduate degree in Global Studies and Environmental Science at the University of the South (Sewanee) and was named a Distinguished Young Alumni in 2017.
