North East Lincs Council ‘builds futures’ with System C’s Early Years solution

North East Lincolnshire Council has gone live with System C’s Education Case Management Early Years Module.

This go-live marks the latest stage in the Council’s multi-year programme to modernise education and children’s services operations.

North East Lincolnshire Council is an existing user of System C’s Children’s Case Management, Early Help Case Management and wider Education Case Management solutions.

The introduction of Early Years extends the Council’s use of the platform and continues the phased rollout that began with Admissions, progressed through the Core product, and has now incorporated Early Years.

During the current school term, the Early Years module will run in parallel with the Council’s children’s legacy system as this is phased out, with exclusive use of the Early Years solution planned to commence from the school summer term to ensure continuity of service.

The Early Years module’s implementation in February 2026 follows the Council’s earlier-than-planned go-live of EHCP for Early Help in December, which formed a key milestone in the wider deployment schedule.

The final phase of delivery will be the implementation of System C’s Youth Justice module for Children’s Case Management, with work scheduled to begin in May, with a planned go-live in 2026.

The adoption of the Early Years module marks a significant step forward in North East Lincolnshire Council’s commitment to stronger communities.

It reflects the Council’s vision of “nurturing our children and building their future,” by equipping frontline teams with the tools they need to deliver more responsive and joined-up care within children’s services.

Councillor Margaret Cracknell, portfolio holder for children and education at North East Lincolnshire Council, said: “Safeguarding vulnerable children is the most important responsibility of any Council, and behind this responsibility sits social workers, educational psychologists, business support officers, fostering social workers, and many more key people.

“Just as important are the systems and software that we use to support our staff to do their jobs, and I’m pleased to say that our partnership with System C continues to go from strength to strength.

“Earlier last year we became the first Council in the country to go live with a bespoke live-reporting system, which has significantly improved our response time to cases.

“I look forward to seeing this partnership continue to flourish.”

Amrik Johal, managing director for social care and education at System C, said: “We welcome North East Lincolnshire Council’s continued progress and the introduction of the Early Years module to strengthen the support offered to children across the region.

“This implementation expands their use of the Education Case Management platform and supports the Council’s wider modernisation objectives.

“We will continue to work with the Council as the Youth Justice module progresses to its implementation phase.”
