Holly Health announces major white-label partnership with GLL

Holly Health has announced its first major white-label integration in the public leisure sector through a partnership with GLL – the charitable social enterprise that operates over 250 leisure centres and gyms under its ‘Better’ brand.

The collaboration sees Holly Health’s evidence-based habit change technology embedded directly into GLL’s new ‘Live Better’ digital wellbeing features, accessible via the Better UK app.

This milestone partnership extends Holly Health’s reach to over 362,000 Better members, providing them with a personal digital health coach to support sustainable improvements in nutrition, movement, sleep, and mental wellbeing.

For Holly Health, this represents a significant strategic expansion into the health-tech white-label market, demonstrating how its “Powered by Holly Health” infrastructure can be seamlessly integrated into existing third-party apps to drive user engagement and long-term health outcomes.

“We are thrilled to launch our first major white-label partnership with GLL,” said Grace Gimson, CEO and founder of Holly Health.

“By embedding our personalised habit coaching directly into the Better UK app, we are proving that digital health coaching can be a seamless, high-impact addition to user-facing app platforms

“This is a significant step in our mission to make preventative health support universal, and we look forward to partnering with more organisations to enhance their digital offerings”

The NHS faces £143.5 billion in annual spending on long term condition care, equating to about 70% of the NHS budget.

The need for scalable, digital self-management tools has never been greater.

By partnering with GLL, the UK’s largest charitable social enterprise leisure provider, Holly Health is bridging the gap between physical leisure facilities and ‘always-on’ digital support.

The integration leverages Holly Health’s evidence based psychological approaches, helping users turn health education and intentions into small, achievable daily habits.

This approach has already been proven to improve engagement, habit completions, and health outcomes through Holly Health’s work with over 200 NHS partners.

Tom Popsys, GLL product lead for Live Better, said: “As the UK’s largest operator of municipal leisure facilities we are committed to making health, fitness and wellbeing services accessible to all.

“By adding Holly Health’s digital coaching to our Live Better platform, we can better support our members’ health goals both inside and outside our leisure centres.”
