1) What is your morning routine?
MB: Wake up early 5:30-6am. Drink coffee. Read select news. Check my email. Go for a 20-30 min hike. Shower. Get stuff done before 9am. Then start the day and finish early if I can.
2) Which technology could you not live without?
MB: Life.
3) How do you relax?
MB: Hiking, running, listening to good music, reading a good book, spending time with my wife or friends on an outdoor patio, watching a good movie, laughing.
4) Which quote resonates with you?
MB: “Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution.” -Albert Einstein
5) What is the best thing about your job?
MB: Connecting with people who try their hardest to make the world a better place.
6) If you could spend a day in someone else’s shoes, whose would they be and why?
MB: I read a lot and admire lots of entrepreneurs, tech geniuses, movie directors, fashion designers, and change makers but I never thought of spending a day in their shoes. I like my own shoes.
7) What is the one thing that we are not talking about?
MB: Love.
8) Would you rather travel 100 years forward or back in time?
MB: Scary thought. I would chose to travel 100 years forward. Curious to see how the world looks like in 2122.
9) What advice would you give to 18 year old you (and would you have listened to you!)?
MB: Be curious. Make good friends. Start companies. Make enough money to be happy. Challenge stupidity, authority and the status quo. Do good.
10) What is your biggest regret?
MB: No regrets. Just learnings and trying to do better and be happier.
