Setting the course to an innovative future at AUTOMA+

The journey towards digital transformation was the main theme at AUTOMA+ 2022.

On September 26-27, the Zurich Congress gathered leaders from across the healthcare space, including hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, government bodies and medical device manufacturers.

The AUTOMA+ business programme highlighted topics such as smart medical devices, gamified education and virtual health, AI and robotics.

Digital health experts from the likes of Takeda, Roche, Honeywell, Helsinki University Hospital and GSK presented more than 50 case studies as well as their technologies and services.

Regina Chislova, Project Director of the Healthcare Automation & Digitalisation Congress, said:

The Congress began with the executive opening panel, where speakers from Helsinki University Hospital, Salesforce, EUSPA and Lusíadas Saúde discussed how digital drives sustainable development.

AUTOMA+ 2022 continued with Congress highlight roundtable “Healthcare 5.0”, where delegates discussed personalisation, Healthcare 5.0 technologies and barriers to Healthcare 5.0 implementation.

The agenda also featured a leaders talk and sessions on patient-centered innovation strategies, data usage, gamified education and virtual health and security, privacy and trust.

The day concluded with a gala dinner at Restaurant Die Waid, where participants enjoyed a view of Zurich.

Day two covered how digital is reshaping pharma, transforming preventive medicine with AI, VR, AR, 3D printing and digital twins and upskilling the workforce.

The Congress concluded with a panel of start-ups addressing innovative health technologies.

The event will take place in Zurich, Switzerland on September 25-26, 2023.
