VitalHub UK and CEMBooks announce partnership

VitalHub UK and CEMBooks have announced a partnership focused on supporting NHS organisations with complementary digital tools for operational insight and situational awareness.

The partnership brings together SHREWD, VitalHub UK’s system-level operational platform used to support escalation, coordination, reporting and digital OPEL, with CEMBooks’ department-focused operational management tools.

The aligned solutions uniquely enable organisations to combine structured local operational capture with system-wide operational oversight.

SHREWD is trusted across the NHS to support operational decision-making at trust, system, regional and national levels, including national digital OPEL reporting across acute, community and mental health services.

CEMBooks is used by multiple NHS Trust frontline teams to structure local operational activity, customised KPIs, task tracking and departmental SITREP narration.

Through this partnership, NHS organisations will have the option to adopt both platforms in a complementary way, enabling clearer alignment between local operational activity and established system-level operational frameworks, while maintaining clear and distinct roles for each product.

Mike Sanders, EVP UK, Europe & Middle East at VitalHub commented on the partnership: “At VitalHub, our focus is on supporting safe, coordinated operational decision-making in increasingly high-pressure NHS environments.

“SHREWD already provides trusted, system-level operational oversight and reporting at scale.

“This partnership with CEMBooks aligns with that focus by offering organisations the option to complement established system-level capability with structured local operational tools, while maintaining clear roles, governance, and accountability.”

Dr Bradley Wilson, Emergency Consultant, Command Centre Medical Director and Cofounder of CEMBooks, agrees: “We’re excited to be partnering with VitalHub on this new venture that allows us to align our department-level operational tools with wider operational frameworks already in use across the NHS, while continuing to focus on supporting frontline teams.”
