LTIMindtree has secured a seven-year US$100m medtech deal to develop and support hearing aids and related digital tools for a European medical technology company.

The Indian IT services company said the Europe-based client, which provides hearing solutions, has not been named.

Under the agreement, LTIMindtree will develop and support the client’s main hearing aid brands and private-label products. These include core wearable devices, which are electronic products worn on the body, and a mobile app for users.

Earlier this month, the LTIMindtree board approved a proposal to rename the company LTM Limited, subject to shareholder and regulatory approval.

In January, the IT firm said total order bookings for the quarter ended 31 December reached a record US$1.69bn.
