The UK’s leading interoperability provider ReStart has appointed health technology specialist Andy Meiner as Chief Revenue Officer.
He joins from specialist PAS provider Silverlink Software, where he served as managing director and chief commercial officer from 2021 – 2022.
Andy brings a wealth of experience to the role, having spent over 30 years in the health tech sector – including more recent roles as managing director for Stalis (2014-2020) and Cambio Healthcare Systems (2020-2021).
ReStart is the interoperability provider of choice to 40 trusts by providing a range of services including consulting, support, integration as well as it’s IMX Interoperability Platform.
Andy’s appointment comes amid a period of exponential growth for the company, which has now expanded to more than 40 employees.
Andy says: “The shift to new integrated care structures will mean that systems need an interoperability partner, a platform and a plan and ReStart offers this from a single company.
“It’s also a chance to elevate the firm onto a national basis with our IMX interoperability platform at a pivotal time, and so it feels like a great opportunity to work for a company with an excellent reputation of delivery of services to the NHS.”
Recent changes within the NHS see trusts and integrated care systems (ICS) forming new formal structures and organisations. ReStart aims to support ICS board members who seek to meet the new mandatory standards set by the NHS within resource and time constraints.
Mike Symers, Managing Director for ReStart comments: “Andy will be working with our customers to elevate and assist at a more strategic level than ever before. Historically, we would quote for work based on the requirements of a range of small or large projects.
“Now we hope to work with ICS board members on strategic goals to really drive the information requirements to help power organisations toward their patient and organisational outcomes.”
ReStart is confident that new ICS structures will force CIOs and boards to take a step back in order to really focus on how information can be best utilised across a geographic region to meet the challenges presented as virtual wards, integrated clinical pathways, system convergence and trust mergers occur over the coming years.
ReStart is the interoperability partner of choice to over 70 NHS organisations with a 16-year proven history. To find out more visit Home – ReStart Consulting
