ABHI UK Pavilion to showcase cutting-edge health tech

Five leading health tech businesses will be among the strong delegation of UK companies joining the Association of British HealthTech Industries (ABHI) at Global Health Exhibition in Saudi Arabia.
The event will mark the first-ever presence of the ABHI UK Pavilion at the region’s largest healthcare event.
Together they will provide a glimpse into the future of healthcare innovation while signifying a significant step towards strengthening the partnership between the UK and Saudi Arabia.
The pandemic has accelerated the adoption of digital solutions and innovations, giving rise to a booming health tech ecosystem in Saudi Arabia.
Moreover, government initiatives to modernise the healthcare industry have further fuelled the growth of this market, creating a favourable environment for innovation and investment.
As a result, health tech currently one of the fastest-growing sectors in the country.
As demand for top-tier health tech solutions surge in the KSA, the ABHI UK Pavilion’s presence at this year’s Global Health Exhibition underscores the UK’s long-standing global recognition as a world-leader in this space.
Across three days, the platform will play host to exciting product showcases and launches, offering a glimpse into the latest cutting-edge UK innovations in medical devices, diagnostics, and digital health technologies.
Together leading innovators from the UK will demonstrate the strengths of UK health tech and how they are working to tackle today’s biggest healthcare challenges.
This year’s list of exhibitors includes:
- Pharmazon:Launching Pharmazon Global, a B2B wholesale marketplace for UK/EU exports, and Owello, a revolutionary B2B2C private healthcare marketplace, aimed at overcoming healthcare accessibility challenges, pegged to create an ‘Uber’ for Healthcare.
- Smartway Pharmaceuticals: Empowering global access to pharmaceuticals and medical supplies through an unparalleled procurement and distribution network, equipped with extensive knowledge of the KSA market.
- International Hospitals Group (IHG): Expanding its MENA presence with the inauguration of a new office in Riyadh and the launch of two pioneering mental healthcare and addiction brands, Monita and Olympia International Healthcare.
- Healthcare Innovation Consortium (HIC): Pioneering a groundbreaking programme in collaboration with Mecomed to combat antimicrobial resistance, targeting Health Technology innovators in the UK, Ireland and the Middle East.

Bringing the UK Pavilion to the fast-growing Global Health Exhibition for the first time, the ABHI will be extending its support to UK health tech SMEs, helping them to enter and thrive within this thriving market.
Taking place from October 29-31 in the Saudi capital of Riyadh, the UK Pavilion (located in Hall 4 C34) will provide a dedicated space within the Global Health Exhibition where UK health tech companies can showcase their expertise, strengthen their presence in the market and establish partnerships with key stakeholders.
