ABHI expands global platform for UK health tech at WHX Dubai 2026

The Association of British HealthTech Industries (ABHI) has unveiled a new initiative designed to strengthen international partnerships and boost the global presence of UK health technology companies at WHX Dubai 2026 – one of the world’s largest and most influential healthcare trade shows.

New for 2026, ABHI will introduce the UK Networking Zone – a dedicated meeting and collaboration space located within the ABHI UK Pavilion and positioned directly alongside the Department for Business and Trade (DBT) stand.

The new feature is designed to provide UK companies with a professional base from which to host meetings, strengthen relationships, and connect with international partners:

Maximise networking and collaboration opportunities, each UK Networking Zone package includes:

  • A dedicated, branded table for meetings over the four-day exhibition.
  • Two full-access visitor passes for the duration of the event.
  • On-site support from the ABHI team, including guest welcome and direction services.

Michelle Michelucci is head of international events at ABHI.

She said: “With its strategic location, direct access to DBT commercial officers from around the world, and consistently high visitor footfall, the UK Networking Zone will provide a valuable platform for UK innovators to raise their profile, engage new partners, and explore opportunities in global markets.”

Set to take place from 9 – 12 February 2026, WHX Dubai will host more than 200,000 visitors and 4,250 exhibitors, with around $1 billion in business expected to be generated during the four-day event.

The exhibition is regarded as a key platform for companies seeking to expand into new markets and form strategic global collaborations.

Places in the UK Networking Zone are strictly limited to 20 tables, which will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Additionally, only five exhibition stands remain available within the ABHI UK Pavilion for organisations seeking a larger presence at the show.

Building on ABHI’s long-standing presence at major international trade shows, the launch of the UK Networking Zone underscores the organisation’s commitment to supporting UK HealthTech exports and strengthening the UK’s global reputation for innovation.
