The Association of British HealthTech Industries (ABHI) has announced the first round of major exhibitors joining the flagship ABHI UK Pavilion at the Arab Health Exhibition & Congress, taking place in Dubai on January 30 – February 2, 2023.

The trade body has announced that one of the key highlights at next year’s show will come courtesy of exhibitor GlucoRx – a leading supplier of innovative diabetes management solutions – who will be joining the ABHI and Department for International Trade (DIT) UK Pavilion to demonstrate their ground-breaking diabetic products and glucose testing solutions.

GlucoRx has launched GlucoRx AiDEX – the UK’s first Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) on prescription.

Additionally, their new GlucoRx BioXensor technology provides a novel non-invasive Continuous Blood Glucose Monitor that generates real-time glucose measurements transmittable wirelessly via Bluetooth to a smartphone or watch.

Visitors to the ABHI stand will be able to test out these innovative solutions.

Also making its return to the ABHI UK Pavilion is the prestigious Harley Street Medical Area (HSMA), which will be bringing together its cluster of world-leading clinics and hospital groups to showcase the very best of London’s medical excellence.

During the four days of the congress, the HSMA will be hosting a variety of presentations, with esteemed clinicians presenting on their pioneering work under the ABHI banner.

The HSMA is home to more than 5,000 practitioners, small clinics and full-scale hospitals covering over 200 medical specialisms.

Harley Street Medical Area clinics and hospitals attending Arab Health include The London Clinic, Cleveland Clinic London, Mayo Clinic Healthcare, HCA UK and Moorfields Private Eye Hospital.

The ABHI will also welcome back Hertfordshire-based infection control specialists GAMA Healthcare, who will be showcasing their latest award-winning innovations in infection control technology.

The innovative company has patented many unique formulations to help reduce the spread of infections such as COVID—19.

Invest Northern Ireland – the economic development agency for Northern Ireland – has also confirmed their participation on the ABHI & DIT stand.

Together, their cohort of medical technology companies will showcase latest innovations and developments to promote the strengths and world-class excellence of the region to a global audience.

Michelle Michelucci, International Manager, ABHI, said:

“We are so delighted to welcome such prestigious companies, partners and organisations to the ABHI UK Pavilion.

“Together we will demonstrate the strengths of UK HealthTech to a global audience of over 55,000 healthcare and trade professionals, giving visitors a chance to see cutting-edge technologies and the latest product launches – and showcase how UK technology and expertise can help solve some of today’s biggest healthcare challenges.”

Arab Health is the largest gathering of healthcare and trade professionals in the MENA region, bringing together the biggest names in the industry to connect and do business across four days.

Each year, the event attracts more than 3,000 exhibitors from 70 countries.

The show provides a prime opportunity for UK healthcare companies to showcase the very best of talent and innovation to a global audience
